About the Artist

Art Domer has evolved from retired welder to artistic welder.  Determined and driven, but keeping his creativity in perspective, he attends nearly thirty festivals and art fairs annually, spending his off time creating more art.

Art started out making yard art, but followed his imagination to his current creations;  depicting the great outdoors.  Herons, salmon, and mountain scenes, to name a few.  Each piece is finely finished with color and dimension.
As Kristine White noted in her article from The Columbian:  "Using a handheld grinder, with painstaking attention to every line, Domer transforms the smooth metal into a surface that reflects light and life:.

Now calling the Hood Canal in Washington State his "final destination", he contines to be inspired by the nature and wildlife in his own backyard.  Producing and marketing his art is a full time job, but he does it with enthusiasm and determination. 
Clearly this artist is living the dream of many;  doing what he loves for a living.
